5 Places I Want to Visit Before I Die

I love traveling, and have been fortunate enough to travel around the world so far in my life. So far, I have been to Quebec (Canada), England (London, Oxford, Cambridge), Paris, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Denmark, and Sweden. I would love to go back to all of these places to spend more time there and visit there. However, there are plenty of other places that I want to go to, as well.

1. Ireland (specifically Cork and Dublin)

Cork, Ireland

Monkstown Catholic Church in Cork, Ireland
Ireland is the #1 place I want to go. My family is originally from Ireland (a couple of generations back, but our Irish heritage is still important), and I have always felt a connection to the country. My family is from County Cork, outside of the city of Cork, so I want to go there. I also want to go to Dublin! When visiting countries, I think that it’s important to visit the capital city if you can. There are so many national museums and monuments!

2. Rome

I’m Catholic. Rome before I die, please. Plus, I’m an art lover (although no expert) and there is such incredible art there. History, my religion, and art? Who wants to send me?
3. Jerusalem

Like I said, I’m Catholic, so holy locations including Jerusalem hold a special place in my heart. I would love to see Jerusalem in person

4. St. Petersburg, Russia

Come on, how cool is this? TONS AND TONS of history in Russia – I’ll admit that I’ve always been fascinated by the Romanov story – plus crazy cool buildings. I want to see them in person.

5. The Netherlands

I want to go visit the Netherlands for a couple of reasons: Van Gogh, Anne Frank, and tulips. Vincent Van Gogh is one of my all-time favorite artists, if not my absolute favorite. Anne Frank is an inspiration to so many for her strength through her ordeal, which happened in Amsterdam. Tulips are my absolute favorite flower in the entire world.
I mean, come on. This is incredible.

There are just some of the places I want to visit. Where do you want to go before you die?

Rome is amazing. You will NOT regret going. And if you can, venture beyond Rome too because Italy is amazing as a whole.
