(Short Story Sunday is still happening – that post is coming later today. You get double posts today!)
With less than 3 weeks until my birthday (June 5!), I thought I’d share with you what I would be okay with receiving.
An Erin Condren lesson planner like this one would be a great way for me to start off my teaching career. Each one includes inspirational quotes, space for important information and plans, absentee logs and graphs, a two page calendar for each month, space for weekly lesson plans, student checklists, notes, colorful stickers, and more. Basically, it’s perfect for me. And with my love for staying organized, clearly I am perfect for it. (Let’s be real, though – since it’s 25% of for the month of May, I’m probably going to buy it for myself anyway. Whatever.)
I’d also really like an adult wallet. You know, a nice and sturdy one that makes me look like I am actually an adult and you should take me seriously. Example, this one from Kate Spade. I’m sorry the picture is blurry! But you get the picture.
I, obviously, love to read. These are three books that I definitely would not mind receiving for my birthday. I have been a big fan of Jodi Picoult since early high school, and have read almost everything that she has written. I discovered Jean Plaidy a few years later, and she fed my historical fiction need. I have loved reading her many, many works, and this is just one that I haven’t read (although I’ve read as many books by her as by Picoult). In fact, the book I’m currently reading is by her: Mary, Queen of France. I found Diana Gabaldon just three years ago, but I have devoured her Outlander series when I have free time. This is the next in the series for me to read, and it is the most recent one, as well. Hopefully I can read it soon, as the next one comes out this fall, supposedly!
