Like the vast majority of women, I have problems with my hair. Sometimes it’s as simple as it doesn’t do what I want it to, but usually it’s more like I deal with keeping it healthy while I’m on medications. Since I started Methotrexate again last week, I’ve been losing significantly more hair than usual. The last time I was on it, I had to cut off 4+ inches to keep my hair healthy looking and from falling out too much. I transitioned to only washing my hair every other day and using dry shampoo in between, but that only does so much. The last thing I want is to deplete my hair of its natural ways of maintaining itself by using tons and tons of chemicals to clean it. So when Maple Holistics asked if I would be interested in trying their holistic hair products, I jumped at the chance.
Maple Holistics explains that they have one goals for their company: “to provide a natural, holistic range of premium products which can enhance hygiene, health and daily living” (from their website). They use pure and high quality ingredients in each product in order to maximize the potential of each product. And customer satisfaction is an extremely important part of their outlook – they even give away products. They promise that “All of our products stand behind our Holistic Promise, a hassle-free 100% money-back guarantee. If, for any reason at all, you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us and you can choose to receive a full refund or try a different product which may work better for you” (from their website).
For your reference, when I tried these products, I tried them individually for several days (used shampoo for a couple washes and then used the conditioner for several washes) before trying them together. This way, I got a feel for how each of them worked.
Argan Shampoo Review
I was shocked with how well the argan oil shampoo works. My hair has been oily as long as I can remember. Up until the past few years, there was only one brand and one type of hair products that worked. In fact, this shampoo is one of the first shampoos I’ve used that worked and is not specifically a cleansing one – and it is the only sulfate-free shampoo that works. The first time I used it, I was shocked at how clean my hair was. Keep in mind, when I’ve used just basic plain shampoo, my hair is still greasy after using it. Not with this one!
Silk18 Natural Conditioner Review
The Silk18 Natural Conditioner feels so good that the first time I used it, I made my family feel how soft my hair was. Seriously. A little goes a long way, and it is officially my favorite conditioner. Maple Holistics conducted years of research and found “blend of conditioning agents which can maximize smooth hairness, have no potentially harmful additives, and be effective for all hair types” in this conditioner (from their website). I am in love with this conditioner and would recommend it to anyone.
