I’m getting to that point in the week where I’m starting to run out of food but I don’t want to go to the grocery store yet. Since I’m out of all my possible desserts, I decided to whip up some no-bake cookies. They’re not healthy in any way, but they are delicious! The original recipe is from Betty Crocker.
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk (I use vanilla soy milk)
1/8 cup cocoa
1/2 stick butter (I use vegan butter)
3/8 cup almond butter (this could of course be replaced by peanut butter)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 oats
How to Make Them
1. Mix sugar, milk, cocoa, and butter in a saucepan and bring it to boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
2. Add almond butter, vanilla, and oats. Mix it all thoroughly.
3. Take rounded spoonfuls and drop them onto wax or parchment paper
And you’re done in around 15 minutes! I store them in tupperware in the fridge. They won’t last long!
