Last summer, I was talking to a good friend of mine who was also moving to Boston. She talked about her new apartment and mentioned that she wanted to decorate it so it didn’t look like a female bachelor pad. I loved that phrase, and it unfortunately kind of described how I decorated my bedroom in my first apartment. I currently live at home with my parents (health reasons, if you’re not in the know), but I hope that within the next couple months or the next couple years that will be a thing of the past.
Today I’m looking at some images that inspire me when it comes to interior design.
I like clean and crisp with pops of color and I like personal touches like pictures. That’s why this canvas from CanvasPop is perfect! It’s a picture I posted on Instagram one summer in Maine; it’s the view from the first part of the dock looking out over one side of the lake. With this, I can always have a bit of Maine summer with me, even in the midst of a horrible New England winter.
This canvas is from a company called CanvasPop, and they have 4 products: photo print (what mine is), add text to photos, collage and mosaic, and triptych canvas (3 panels ranging from 24″x12″ to 30″x60″). You upload your image, select the size, choose a frame, and choose an edge. It’s easy and you have a personal piece of art that will brighten your home!
The quality of the canvas is great and I received it within the time that they said I would. I’ve had it for a week and can’t wait for when I’m out on my own again and have space to hang it. For now, it’s hanging out on the sideboard in our dining area. But if there’s ever a problem with it, CanvasPop will fix it. As they say on their 100% Love Guarantee page, “either you love it or we make it right – guaranteed”.
Disclaimer: I received this product for free in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated in any other form.
