Happy 2017! Before we can completely turn to the new year over on my part of the Internet, it’s time to look at my blog traffic from December. As I mentioned in November’s traffic report, when I compare traffic, I’m now looking at growth from the previous month (November in this case) and the previous year instead of the beginning of my journey to grow my traffic.

Great post! I just finished writing my December traffic report and I saw my pageviews increase by almost 50% month over month. This was due to having a Pin go viral on Pinterest. The downside is it pushed up my bounce rate a bit.
Good luck on your January goals. What will you be doing to maintain your social media?

Thank you! And congratulations on your own success – it’s very exciting. A large part of maintaining my social media is 1) keeping my social media content calendar going, which involves more than just posting blog things and 2) participate in follow trains in the Facebook blogging groups I’m a part of.

Wow, those are great numbers! Can I ask how you manage to have such a low bounce rate? Mine is pretty high and I’m trying to figure out how I can lower it. Good luck on your goals for January!
