Week 5 of #2025Weekly ⁣

I didn't really take a lot of pictures. I didn't do a lot, but as the last few weeks have shown, that hasn't stopped me from taking pictures of my day-to-day life. ⁣
⁣
This week was different, though, as I feel discouraged and pessimistic about this country's future. ⁣
⁣
I still have to eat 3 meals a day, take all of my medication, and go to work. But this week I needed to wrap my head around what the long-term future looks like for Americans. ⁣
⁣
Moving forward means putting your own oxygen mask on first. ⁣
⁣

3️⃣ 15 degree weather means my thickest, warmest sweater, which was lovingly made by my mom⁣
4️⃣ Back at my doctor's office selfie game. I see an immunologist due to my chronic immunodeficiency from medications and my history of sepsis. Things are pretty standard nowadays, but we need to keep an eye on things in case that changes.⁣

Also, your best can change from day to day! If you feel bad but you eat a couple meals and take your meds, that's pretty damn impressive. ⁣

And, of course, while my advice is definitely for people with chronic illness, this applies to everyone. ⁣

Perfection isn't possible (or the same from person to person). Stop aiming for it.⁣
