Given that I try to write content that helps people in some way, I haven’t really written a life update in a while. And since a picture says a thousand words, I’m providing you with an Instagram update! Here are some things that I’ve posted recently and what they say about my life, and come follow me to stay up-to-date.
1 – I spent a fair amount of time this semester doing research in the Harvard Archives for one of my classes. At approximately 17 pages into my final, I realized that I had to go back to do a last round of research. Unfortunately, because my research access expired at the end of May, I had to go on the day before Harvard graduation. Harvard Square was PACKED and I completely regretted that decision.
2 – We spent Memorial Day in Maine, and since I wanted to get my final done ASAP, I spent most of the weekend working on that. Luckily, our house in Maine has my desk and it was gross on Friday, Sunday, and Monday, so I was able to focus on getting that paper done.
3 – My grandparents have a house up the street from our house in Maine, so it was great spending time with them. That also meant that I got to spend time with their cats, including Shelby!
4 – Some of the things in my bag. Note: my bag is much messier than this flat lay. Get the sunglasses, wallet, lippie stix from ColourPop, and planner.
1 – The lake was gorgeous on Saturday! The picture doesn’t do it justice.
2 – Gus loves Maine and he loves when his people are in Maine with him.
3 – Like I said, it was kinda gross most of the weekend. But that just meant that it was the perfect weather for hot coffee! Get the coffee cup at Anthropologie.
4 – The weekend was spent mostly on my paper for my course on the making of Renaissance literature. I edit best on paper.
1 – Piper really likes sitting on the stairs so that she can see everything that’s going on. It makes for adorable pictures!
2 – The lake is so beautiful and it makes me feel so lucky to be a Mainer. For those of you who think I’m a Boston girl through and through, you couldn’t be more wrong. I grew up in Maine and my parents moved to Boston before my senior year of college. Boston is my current home, but I have trouble considering myself a Bostonian.
3 – Final must-haves: Stabilo pens, planner, to-do list.
4 – I nabbed this picture of the sunset through the woods and it makes my heart happy.
1 – Piper is never as cute as she is when she’s trying to get your food. I got this when we were in Maine and I was eating chocolate, so she was definitely not going to get it!
2 – Boston was, by and large, gorgeous last week. I got this picture of the Boston Public Library on my way to my weekly chiropractor appointment.
3 – Some of you may not know that I also have a cat! This is Abby and she likes to sit with me when I work.
4 – As you may or may not know, my birthday was yesterday! My gift from my parents was shopping, so my mom and I did that on Saturday. I bought myself this great Fenway shirt (where the Red Sox play) last week!
