Here in Boston – and all across the country – we are still in the midst of winter. Between that and the new diet my doctor has me on, I have soup or stew for lunch 6 out of 7 days of the week. So today I’m sharing some of the best soup recipes out there, and I hope that you enjoy some of them!
Don’t want to use cream in any recipe that requires it? Try cauliflower! A cauliflower puree in soup can replace cream and makes the recipe even healthier.
Butternut squash soup – this includes sweet potato and carrot, which really makes a difference!

Those look great! I love soups/stews, even when it isn't cold, just because I can make large batches and we put them in our outdoor freezer and have homemade food on hand.

I had never heard the cauliflower puree replacement trick! I like cream based soup but sometimes I wish they could be more healthy. This is a perfect solution.
