Over the weekend, I had the privilege of going to a great event with Boston Brunchers at CambridgeSide Galleria! We took a boat tour of the Charles River, ate at P. F. Chang’s, and got to explore the mall a bit. I’ve decided to break this down into two posts, since on our boat tour we previewed some of the latest fall fashion trends! Tomorrow I will go into detail about the other aspects of the event.
We started off with a boat tour of the Charles River, and on the boat were several mannequins wearing some of the new trends for fall. I’m going to break some of them down with how I would wear them. All original looks are from stores in the Galleria!
Look #1: Plaid
This original look features a Gap sweater ($69.95), Gap laid shirt ($54.95), and Club Monaco pants ($159.50).
Looks 2&3 are in this picture:
Look #2: Trophy Coat
The original look features an H&M coat ($129) and H&M dress ($49.95).
Look #3: Fringe
The original look features a Gap dress ($64.95), Gap belt ($29.95), and TJ Maxx satchel ($249.99).
I’m not crazy about fringe in the first place, but a simple way to incorporate into your wardrobe would be with a small bag like this one.
Looks #4, 5, and 6 are in this picture:
Look #4: Seeing Red
The original has a dress from Francesca’s ($44) and bag also from there ($44).
Look #5: Rebel Yell
The original has a T. J. Maxx jacket ($99.99), T.J. Maxx tank ($7.99), and T.J. Maxx skirt ($14.99).
Look #6: Midi Skirt
This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE outfit! In the outfit, the t-shirt is from Old Navy ($14.99), LOFT belt ($39.50), and H&M skirt ($34.95).
Don’t forget to come by tomorrow to read about CambridgeSide Galleria as a whole! And let me know what you think – think you’ll be able to incorporate any of these trends this fall?
I also want to introduce you to Autumn of The Unreal Life
Hello! My name is Autumn and I am the writer behind The Unreal Life. If you’ve ever wondered how to stop dating assholes, use appropriate office lingo and otherwise “make it” in this post-grad adult life….well, so have I. So grab a margarita and join me. My blog is a place to document all the unreal aspects of life — from the hysterical unreal to the difficult, character-building unreal.
By day I am a graduate student and marketing assistant, and by night I am a waitress, aunt, and all over good friend to hit the town with. A few of my favorite things include, but are not limited to: my nieces, Mindy Kaling, Sex and The City, Tina Fey, philanthropy and marketing. One of my favorite series on my blog is ‘Move Over, Carrie,’ which is inspired by Sex and The City and looking at our own relationships within the context of modern society. I hope to see you at The Unreal Life soon!
