Baking Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

The other day I made muffins and filmed it! Don’t only watch for baking goodness, but also watch for my random singing and comments on life.

Baking Healthy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Healthy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffin Recipe

Original Recipe – My Whole Food Life

Changes I made – King Arthur Gluten-Free Multi-Purpose Flour instead of spelt flour, and melted Earth Balance organic non-dairy butter for coconut oil and applesauce. HOWEVER, if I had coconut oil and/or applesauce, I would have gone with those.

Outfit

preppy simple outfit | Kate the (Almost) Great
Original outfit involves a skirt from J. Crew from 2011 and a shirt from Ann Taylor Loft from who knows how long ago. If you want to replicate it and don’t have similar items, this is what I would go with:
Topshop Lace Gingham Pelmet Skirt | Halogen Relaxed Sub Knit Tee | Personalized From Me to You Monogram Necklace | Fossil Watch | ECCO ‘Touch’ Flat | Similar Anchor Apron

Makeup

Revlon PhotoReady Foundation | Neutrogena Moisturizer | Maybelline Instant Baby Skin Pore Eraser Primer | Neutrogena Shine Control Primer | Naked Flushed | Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating Under Eye Primer | Covergirl Invisible Concealer
I use so many primers because I’ve accumulated some over time and they serve different purposes, but also because I got one or two from trial services.

Smashbox 24 Hour Eye Primer | Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner | Covergirl Bombshell Mascara | Maybelline Volum’Express The Rocket Mascara
When it comes to mascara, I use the Covergirl Bombshell Mascara first, but I just use the lengthening side. Then I use the Maybelline Volum’Express Rocket Mascara, which is the best mascara I’ve ever used.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick in N39 Soft Apricot
I received this from Sephora as a part of an event at CambridgeSide Galleria this weekend. I’ll have a full description of that event tomorrow. But I love this beautiful coral color!

Fun fact! Being even more chronically ill makes my Fun fact! Being even more chronically ill makes my life more boring

The last few weeks have been: leave Maine, work, have symptoms.

Living with lots of chronic pain and fatigue is incredibly boring, except when things are bad, in which case they are way too interesting. I’m just trying to keep my head above water!

There are a lot of reasons why you shouldn't doubt There are a lot of reasons why you shouldn't doubt someone's chronic illness, but this is one of them. ⁣
⁣
I'm always amazed by how people can have the exact same illness or set of illnesses and still have different experiences. Sure, there will be similarities, but which symptoms are the worst, what medications you respond to, and your quality of life can vary significantly. ⁣
⁣
It doesn't mean that one person is necessarily worse off than another; they're just different.⁣
