See, Eat, Do: CambridgeSide Galleria

It’s time for another part of my See, Eat, Do series of things to do in Boston, and today I’m talking about CambridgeSide Galleria!

See, Eat, Do: CambridgeSide Galleria Kate the (Almost) Great

Like I said yesterday, last weekend I got to go to a great event at CambridgeSide Galleria Mall. The first part was a tour of the Charles River, and it was a perfect day for it. We loaded on the boat towards the back side of the mall and went out to the river. (This was when we saw the fall fashion looks I mentioned yesterday.)

It was the perfect way to spend the last day of really nice weather. And the crew at the Charles Riverboat Company were so nice and knowledgeable.

After the riverboat, we headed inside to P. F. Chang’s. We got to taste some of their appetizers, and that included the gluten-free lettuce wraps. I’ve been to P. F. Chang’s before, but I hadn’t had the GF lettuce wraps. They were delicious – I think I had 4 or 5 of them.

P. F. Chang's Boston Kate the (Almost) Great

After lunch, we had time to explore the mall a bit. I was starting to run low on spoons, so I popped into Roster to get a Pats shirt before heading home. But I have heard a lot about the mall and shopped there before, so I can tell you all about it. (I actually went there to get my outfits for sorority recruitment years ago!)

If you’re looking for shopping in Boston, a lot of times people will automatically think of Newbury Street. While there is a lot of great shopping there, it can be a bit expensive and it’s all walking down a street, which isn’t always ideal if the weather is iffy. CambridgeSide Galleria is just over the Charles River in Cambridge (so it’s easily accessible), indoors, and has multiple levels of shops. Plus, it has a lot of less-expensive stores in one place! Sure, Newbury has H&M, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, etc., but they’re all spread out with many more higher fashion stores in between. CambridgeSide has shopping in Boston best for people shopping on a budget, and all in one place.

Some of the stores in this great shopping mall are: J. Crew, Aldo, American Eagle, LOFT, Ann Taylor, Macy’s, Banana Republic, Bath and Body Works, Old Navy, Victoria’s Secret, Gap, H&M, and so, so much more! All the original looks in yesterday’s post on the latest fall fashion trends were styled by clothes found in stores at the mall.

As a whole, I can’t recommend CambridgeSide Galleria enough. If you’re looking for shopping malls in Boston, you definitely have to head there.

Any topic/location you’d like me to cover for the next See, Eat, Do? Let me know!

Thank you so much to CambridgeSide Galleria for having me!

What a fun event! The Charles River looks gorgeous. I love your dress, too! Do you have any seafood restaurant recommendations for Boston? I'm heading over there in a week, and I love getting advice from locals. 🙂

So this year my quasi-resolution is being nice to myself and focusing more on thriving than existing. Because I can, for the first time maybe ever, thinking about thriving *and* existing."⁣
